Job summary

Sanford Health in Minnesota is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our laboratory team in Alexandria. The role involves phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry of orders and results.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), completion of a formal phlebotomy program and experience in a lab setting; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required. This is a day shift, part-time on-site position.

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
