Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a laboratory, medical, or related setting OR relevant training
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening communication skills and leadership abilities
• Ability to follow OSHA and regulatory procedures to ensure a safe laboratory environment and meet accreditation standards
• Flexibility to adapt to testing and scheduling needs

Job Description

Under supervision, the lab assistant supports functions such as preanalytical processing, specimen preparation for reference labs, and accessioning/registration.
