Responsibilities

Supports technical services in the laboratory, performing procedures in one or more areas including specimen collection, handling, clerical functions, and technical duties under supervision of licensed staff. Assists with tasks such as stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, record handling and storage, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hospital experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Coursework in biology, chemistry, or related fields preferred.
• AA or BS degree preferred.
• Completion of a California-approved phlebotomy certification program.
• Certified as a phlebotomist by the State of California.

Pay Range

$26.71 - $31.94 per hour
