Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Lab Assistant-I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Calabasas, CA.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Calabasas, CA

Schedule: Sun to Thurs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 am and 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay Range: $16 - $18 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Job Requirements:

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Perform scanning and data entry of specimens and patient information.
• Ensure proper functioning of lab equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues as needed.
• Replenish test bench supplies regularly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and handle administrative tasks as assigned.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; previous medical, lab, or production experience .
