Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

We serve industries such as food & beverage, dietary supplements & NHP, cosmetics, OTC, personal care, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, and hemp.

We are currently looking for a Lab Assistant to join our growing team!

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Logging customer samples into the LIMS system accurately; using products as needed.
  2. Splitting samples between departments.
  3. Ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and reliability in work.
  4. Adhering to the daily work schedule.
  5. Making suggestions regarding product/specs that aid in logging, including customer communication.
  6. Performing clerical reviews for accuracy.
  7. Labeling samples correctly and storing at appropriate temperatures until testing.
  8. Maintaining cleanliness of the sample receiving/splitting room.
  9. Participating in special projects as assigned.
  10. Reporting issues to the Manager/Supervisor.
  11. Interacting with clients, suppliers, and vendors as required.
  12. Learning new techniques and technologies, training others as appropriate.
  13. Collaborating effectively with other departments.
  14. Executing ISO and QC requirements.
  15. Stocking and ordering supplies.
  16. Assisting with sample retain and retrieval, purchasing, inventory, media prep, and cleaning laboratory glassware.
  17. Performing general laboratory housekeeping tasks.
  18. Performing other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. High school diploma.
  2. Knowledge of good aseptic techniques and behaviors to reduce cross contamination.
  3. Basic laboratory skills and techniques.
  4. Critical thinking skills for analyzing solutions and approaches.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to train and guide others.
  7. Strong qualitative and quantitative skills, including arithmetic.
  8. Good communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening).
  9. Manual dexterity and ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
