Join our team as a Laboratory Analyst, Bureau of Tuberculosis Control at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
The Bureau of Tuberculosis Control aims to eliminate TB as a public health issue in NYC. The Laboratory Analyst will oversee laboratory specimen tracking, troubleshoot processing issues, conduct false-positive investigations, and ensure proper data entry and communication regarding TB results. This role reports to the Surveillance Team Lead and works as part of the Surveillance and Laboratory Coordination Team.
Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in public health or epidemiology with coursework in epidemiology, or a bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience in health data collection and analysis.
