Accelera is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to ensure integrity of chemical processes through precise qualitative and quantitative testing. You will uphold high analytical accuracy, safety compliance, and data integrity in a fast-paced lab environment.

Responsibilities include executing analyses, maintaining records, calibrating equipment, managing waste streams, and supporting team training. Forklift operation may be required. A chemistry background supports success in this role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience performing chemical testing and laboratory analysis.
• Proficiency in operating, calibrating, and maintaining analytical lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemical safety and OSHA regulations.

• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and participate in SOP training.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new laboratory personnel.
• Perform operational tasks, including occasional forklift operation.

• Ensure the accuracy of laboratory data by maintaining meticulous digital and physical records, including calibration and testing logs.
• Optimize laboratory performance by calibrating and operating analytical instrumentation in alignment with established safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage chemical waste streams effectively to maintain a secure and environmentally compliant workspace.
• Support team efficiency by monitoring inventory levels and proactively communicating supply needs.
• Foster a culture of safety by adhering to OSHA guidelines and participating in ongoing SOP training.
• Contribute to team development by assisting in the training and onboarding of new laboratory personnel.
• Perform operational tasks, including occasional forklift operation, to support overall facility throughput.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in a laboratory setting.
• Prior certification or experience in forklift operation.
• Advanced safety certifications, such as 24- or 40‑hour OSHA or DOT training.
