Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Job Description

• Sort and separate paint based on quality and color.
• Open and consolidate paint containers for processing. Discard packaging materials appropriately.
• Assist during collection events – collecting, sorting and packaging paint material/ containers at event site(s).
• Assist with workspace and facility maintenance/ cleaning.
• Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Must be dependable and consistent.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job Repetitive movements throughout the course of any given workday/ week.
• Must be able to identify different colors for recycle processing.
• Must be able to operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and wheeled carts safely.
• Occasionally, must be willing to work during non-business hours at facility or off-site locations for collection events.
• Must be able to work in a team setting and follow instructions from direct Supervisor.
• Commitment to safety.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work from facility in Rotterdam, NY.
• Ability to operate pallet jack for loading and unloading of pallets in excess of 800 lbs.
• May be required to lift 50 lbs +.
• Forklift certified is a plus.
• Previous work experience in warehouse setting is a plus.
• Previous work experience driving 26-foot box truck is a plus.
  
  

GreenSheen offers a competitive compensation package including base pay, health care, 401K, flex time, vacation and sick time. Salary is commensurate with experience.
