Job summary

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. is seeking a full-time Labor Support and Janitorial employee for our Monroe, MI facility. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with responsibilities spanning support for operators and technicians, plus comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of the facility.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and basic industrial experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; forklift and overhead crane operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment operators and heat treat technicians by following process instructions and work orders.
• Assist with fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading and packaging of customer parts.
• Perform routine shop duties and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Conduct deep to light cleaning of common areas including restrooms, break rooms and office spaces; operate floor scrubber as needed.

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. is looking for a full-time employee for Labor Support and Janitorial duties at our Monroe, MI facility.

Hours and pay: Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

What does Labor Support/Janitorial do exactly?

Duties of this position will include provide support to equipment operators and heat treat technicians by following process instructions and work orders. This includes fixturing, masking, cleaning, loading, and packaging of customer parts, as well as routine shop duties.

This role also includes deep to light cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming of common areas like restrooms, break rooms and office areas. Taking care of garbage in operations and office area and running floor scrubber in the facility. Additional janitorial responsibilities will be assigned on an as needed basis.

This work is done in a climate-controlled facility!
