Job summary

AHT is seeking an Electromechanical Technician for a full-time, first-shift role at our Waterloo facility. You will perform maintenance tasks to keep systems running, read blueprints, and support safety and environmental standards across the plant.

Ideal candidates bring a two-year technical degree or equivalent industrial maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting skills in relay logic, high/low voltage systems, motors, pumps, and controllers.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or two years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with computers, relay logic, high/low voltage systems, motors and starters, bearings and pulleys, pumps and valves, controllers.
• Ability to learn environmental standards and reporting to maintain compliance.
• Competent in math.
• Knowledgeable with working with high-voltage industrial equipment, process gases, water supply systems.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions as required.
• Ability to drive facility safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Fundamental understanding of vacuum, plasma, and gas process preferred.
• Must be able to pass FIT test for NH3 handling

Electromechanical Technician

We currently have a full-time position open for an ElectroMechanical Technician working first shift out of our Burton Avenue, Waterloo, IA facility. An ElectroMechanical Technician is responsible for providing maintenance support throughout the organization.

Qualifications:
