Job summary

Advanced Heat Treat Corp in Waterloo, IA seeks a full-time Electromechanical Technician for first shift to provide maintenance support across the facility. The role requires reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and preventive maintenance on high- and low-voltage equipment.

Candidates should have a two-year electronics/electro-mechanical degree or equivalent, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to meet environmental and safety standards, with NH3 handling FIT testing preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Technician Maintenance Technology or 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with computers, relay logic, high- and low-voltage systems, motors, bearings, pumps, valves and controllers.
• Ability to learn environmental standards and report to maintain compliance.
• Competent in math and in reading blueprints/schematics.
• Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, process gases, water systems; strong written and verbal communication.

Electromechanical Technician

We currently have a full-time position open for an ElectroMechanical Technician working first shift out of our Burton Avenue, Waterloo, IA facility. An ElectroMechanical Technician is responsible for providing maintenance support throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a two-year degree in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Technician Maintenance Technology or related field or a minimum of two years industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with computers, relay logic, high-voltage + low voltage systems, motors and starters, bearings and pulleys, pumps and valves, controllers
• Ability to learn environmental standards and reporting to maintain compliance
• Competent in math
• Knowledgeable with working with high-voltage industrial equipment, process gases, water supply systems
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions as required
• Ability to drive facility safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Fundamental understanding of vacuum, plasma, and gas process preferred
• Must be able to pass FIT test for NH3 handling
