Temple Health is seeking a Labor Relations Manager to lead the organization’s labor relations strategy across multiple bargaining units within a large, unionized healthcare system.

The role serves as the subject-matter expert on collective bargaining agreements, grievance administration, and labor negotiations, providing strategic counsel to senior leadership and operational leaders while directing daily labor relations activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Labor Relations, HR, Business Administration or related field required.
• Master’s Degree in Labor Relations, HR, or related field or Juris Doctor preferred.
• 5 years experience in labor relations, preferably in a unionized healthcare environment required.
• Experience working with internal and external union representatives and supporting bargaining/grievance/arbitration processes required.
• Experience in healthcare or large multi-site organizations preferred.

Description

The Labor Relations Manager is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s labor relations strategy within a highly unionized, complex healthcare system. This role serves as the primary subject-matter expert on collective bargaining agreements, grievance administration, labor negotiations, and union-management relations across multiple bargaining units.
The Labor Relations Manager provides strategic counsel to senior leadership, Human Resources, and operational leaders on labor matters; ensures consistent interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements; and leads the daily labor relations function. This role has direct functional leadership responsibility for a Labor Relations Specialist and plays a critical role in labor strategy, contract administration, and dispute resolution.

Education

Experience
