Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Labor Relations Manager with a strong background in unions to lead contract negotiations and administration. This hybrid role requires hands-on management of union contracts, language interpretation, and guidance on labor issues to align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a JD preferred, 5+ years in labor relations, and a proven track record in negotiating agreements, managing grievances, and building positive relationships with union

Salary: $135,000 - $185,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and highly skilled Labor Relations Manager with a strong background wiht unions. This dynamic role calls for an individual who is proficient in creating and crafting agreements, hands-on handling of union contracts, and strategizing negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of knowledge in labor agreements, human resources, and labor and employment. This role is responsible for providing overall union contract administration, including assisting with language interpretation and providing guidance on labor issues. The successful candidate will also oversee the grievance process, working collaboratively to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner that best meets business objectives.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school preferred, but no required
• A plus if licensed to practice law in the state.
• 5+ years of experience in labor relations, with a focus on Unions
• Proven expertise in creating and crafting agreements, handling union contracts, and strategizing negotiations.
• Solid knowledge of labor agreements, human resources, and labor and employment laws.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex labor laws and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and resolve issues effectively.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
