Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an investigator to conduct fair and thorough workplace investigations into employee concerns, misconduct allegations, and policy violations. You will work with Workforce Services, project leadership, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Security to gather facts, assess evidence, and provide findings and recommendations that support a respectful, compliant, and high‑performing workplace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EEOC, ADA, harassment, FMLA, and FLSA legislation.
• Demonstrated experience independently conducting and documenting workplace investigations.
• Strong written communication to produce concise, defensible investigation reports.
• Willingness to travel to projects and craft locations as needed.
• Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations from intake through closure for harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations.
• Interview witnesses, collect evidence, and assess credibility.
• Prepare written reports with findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Support labor relations by resolving disputes and monitoring case metrics.
• Maintain confidential case records and provide trend analyses.
• Coordinate with Workforce Services, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Security.
