Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an Investigator to conduct fair, thorough workplace investigations into employee concerns, allegations of misconduct, policy violations, and other workplace matters. The role partners with Workforce Services, project leadership, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and other stakeholders to gather facts, assess evidence, and provide recommendations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EEOC, ADA, harassment, FMLA, and FLSA legislation.
• Experience independently conducting and documenting workplace investigations.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct craft and non-manual employee relations investigations from intake through closure, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations.
• Plan and prepare for investigations through interviewing and evidence collection, including union representation rights.
• Prepare written investigation reports with findings and analysis and recommended actions.
• Assist in resolution of labor disputes, grievances, and work stoppages; escalate when needed.
• Maintain investigation case records and produce metrics and trend analyses.
