Job summary

Factor is seeking a Labor Planning Analyst in Illinois to join the Hybrid day-shift team. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive planning accuracy and deliver staffing plans for U.S. distribution centers.

Responsibilities include validating labor plans, driving headcount and scheduling improvements, and translating business needs to data solutions with Planning and Data/Engineering teams. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or business/supply chain.
• Proven experience driving operational efficiency using data.
• Advanced data analysis and tool development using Google Sheets and/or Excel.
• Proficiency in Google App Scripts, SQL and Tableau.
• Proficiency in Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience in a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate labor plans with Planning team and improve accuracy.
• Drive headcount, attrition curves, scheduling, and cohort balancing using data.
• Track progress and deviations; assist with problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Serve as liaison between Planning and Data/Engineering to translate requirements and improve tools.
• Own short-term labor planning to ensure staffing aligns with cost and experience goals.
