Job summary

HelloFresh in Illinois is seeking a Labor Planning Analyst to help maintain capacity for our U.S. distribution centers in a high-growth environment. You will partner with operations leaders to drive accurate hiring plans and improve labor models.

The role emphasizes advanced analytics, SQL, Tableau, and Excel to forecast headcount, manage schedules, and optimize staffing for cost and customer experience. Hybrid schedule Tue-Sat; collaborate with Planning, Data, and Engineering teams to enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business/Supply Chain is preferred.
• Experience driving operational efficiency and influencing stakeholders with data.
• Advanced data analysis and tool development using Google Sheets and/or MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Apps Script, SQL and Tableau.
• Proficiency in Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with project management tools and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate labor plans with the Planning team and improve accuracy.
• Drive headcount planning, attrition curves, scheduling, and cohort balancing using data.
• Track progress, deviations, and perform root cause analysis.
• Act as liaison between Planning and Data/Engineering to translate requirements and improve tools.
• Own short-term labor planning to optimize staffing for cost and experience.
