You will draft pleadings and subpoenas, organize deposition materials, track deadlines, and liaise with clients. A paralegal certificate or degree and 3–5 years' labor and employment experience preferred; Excel and eDiscovery tools like Relativity/DISCO helpful.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 3–5 years of labor and employment litigation or general litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of employment litigation in federal and state courts.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, exhibits, and supporting documentation for filing.
• Monitor court rules, filing requirements, and e-filing processes.
• Conduct factual investigations using publicly available information.
• Perform basic legal research under attorney supervision.
• Draft Rule 26(a) disclosures and create Rule 1006 summaries.
• Prepare subpoenas and review responsive documents.
• Create chronologies, witness files, and document indexes.
• Maintain case calendars and deadlines, coordinating with attorneys.
• Organize electronic and physical case files.
• Prepare deposition notebooks, trial notebooks, and witness materials.
• Coordinate trial logistics and exhibit management.
• Assist with discovery requests, responses, and privilege logs.
• Support eDiscovery processes and document databases.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding status.
• Coordinate meetings, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and employment matters.
• Track billable time per firm standards.
