Job summary

Wood Smith Henning & Berman, LLP is seeking a litigation associate with 1–7 years of experience for its labor and employment practice in Southern California. A California license and proximity to Southern California are required.

The attorney will play a pivotal role in growing a dynamic national and West Coast employment practice, with a flexible work-from-home policy and collaboration across offices. PAGA/class action experience is a plus but not necessary. Salary depends on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in California.
• 1-7 years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing skills and analytical ability.
• Experience in labor & employment litigation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support lead attorneys on all phases of litigation from investigations to trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices to manage matters.
• Contribute to research, drafting, and deposition preparation for cases.
