Job summary

Orion Placement in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Traditional Labor Law Partner to advise employers on labor relations, bargaining, and NLRA compliance while expanding the firm’s traditional labor practice.

You will lead collective bargaining negotiations, represent clients before the NLRB, and collaborate with attorneys across employment and corporate disciplines. A portable book of business is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of traditional labor law experience.
• Established portable book of business of at least $500,000.
• Experience with collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, union relations, and NLRB matters.
• Active law license and eligibility to practice in the applicable office jurisdiction.
• Experience advising healthcare, nonprofit, or government contracting clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on traditional labor law, union relations, collective bargaining, and compliance with the NLRA.
• Represent clients in grievance arbitrations, labor disputes, union campaigns, and proceedings before the NLRB.
• Lead collective bargaining negotiations and develop effective labor relations strategies.
• Provide practical counseling on unionized workplace issues, labor contracts, and grievance procedures.
• Build lasting client partnerships while collaborating with attorneys across employment, corporate, and other practice areas.
• Help strengthen and grow our labor law practice through client development and exceptional legal service.

$250,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
