The New York, New York office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of employment litigation experience
• Experience providing advice and counsel to in-house legal counsel and HR professionals on a broad range of employment matters, including FMLA and ADA
• Experience with wage / hour compliance and defense, and non-compete, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements
• Experience representing employers in New York state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies
• Superior academic credentials, and excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• New York licensure

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $205,000 to $220,000 , reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates Are Also Eligible For

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
