Qualifications

  • Active Maryland bar admission required.
  • 3+ years of labor and employment law experience required.
  • Experience defending EEOC claims and employment litigation preferred.
  • Experience with employment discrimination and wage/hour matters.
  • Immigration law experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a broad range of labor and employment matters on behalf of employer clients.
  • Defend EEOC claims and employment-related civil litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Advise clients on general employment and workplace matters.
  • Handle employment discrimination and wage and hour disputes.
  • Assist with unfair labor practice claims and labor relations matters.
  • Provide practical legal guidance on day-to-day employment issues and workplace decisions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Communicate directly with clients and develop practical strategies tailored to their business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals on complex labor and employment matters.
  • Handle immigration-related employment matters as part of a broad labor and employment practice.

Location: Baltimore, MD — on-site in our Baltimore office, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with attorneys and work directly with clients.

Note: Active Maryland bar admissions is required. Virginia bar admission is preferred, along with 3+ years of directly relevant labor and employment law experience.
