A well-established and growing law firm seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its Philadelphia office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience looking to handle a diverse mix of labor & employment matters and complex defense litigation throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The Role:

• Handle a variety of labor & employment matters, with an emphasis on defense-side litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in arbitrations and trials
• Handle additional liability, insurance defense, and complex litigation matters
• Conduct substantive legal research and analysis
• Work closely with clients and experienced attorneys throughout all stages of litigation

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Insurance defense, liability, and/or complex litigation experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, arbitrations, and/or trials
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar admission required
