Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando seeks a Human Resources Specialist (Labor and Employee Relations) to provide expert guidance on labor matters, perform program administration, and advise on regulations.

The role will develop training for employees and supervisors on performance management, discipline, ADR, and grievance processing, supporting management across the Navy environment.

Qualifications

• Provide management consultant services on labor and employee relations issues.
• Perform program administration, research, and case management on conduct, performance, attendance, and dispute resolution.
• Advise management on the effect of OPM, DoD and Navy regulations on organizations and work processes.
• Develop and lead training for employees and supervisors on performance management systems; discipline; alternative dispute resolution; and grievance processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide management consultant services including advice and authoritative policy interpretations on labor and employee relations issues.
• Perform work that involves program administration, research, and case management in matters related to conduct, performance, attendance, and dispute resolution.
• Provide advice to all levels of management in regard to the effect of OPM, DoW and Navy regulations on organizations and work processes.
• Develop and lead training for employees and supervisors on a wide variety of employee relations matters to include performance management systems; discipline; alternative dispute resolution; and/or grievance processing.
