Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 48 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (AZ) CommonSpirit Health
• 12 months between Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (AZ) CommonSpirit Health

• Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have experience with C-sections.
• Required to titrate drips: they will titrate Pitocin as per the protocol and Magnesium Sulfate as per the protocol.

Required Credentials:

• Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting an offer (with 2 max attempts). They must pass with a score of 80%.
• Travelers will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. Study guides will be provided with FDI’s.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Holidays: Would love coverage on Holiday’s if you require it.
• Call or standby required?: No, it is voluntary.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating to MB/PP when needed.
• First to float, could float to sister facility - Mercy Gilbert.

Unit and facility details: Ratios: mostly 2:1 depending on acuity, Antepartum can be 4:1, c-sections 1:1

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
