UVM Health - UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT is seeking a Labor & Delivery Assistant (LDA)/Unit Secretary (US) to support Birthing Center services. The role includes clinical, clerical and technical tasks with a focus on patient safety and a clean environment.

New hires undergo a full-time 6-week orientation, including 2 weeks of day-shift tech training in the OR and 4 weeks of unit orientation across day, evening and night shifts, all under RN supervision.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous patient care experience and medical terminology helpful.

Mansioni

• Assist with clinical, clerical and technical activities to support Birthing Center services.
• Maintain a safe, clean, clutter-free environment and work under the supervision of the L&D RN.
