Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to scrub procedures in all specialty areas and provide training for other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Stocks all Labor rooms and LDRs in advance.
• Prepares and passes instruments, sutures, and supplies needed in the operative procedure.
• Ensures specimens are correctly collected, labeled, and delivered.
• Assists in safely transporting patients.

Education

Completion of recognized training course for Surgical Technician (military or civilian)
