Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Enid, OK is seeking a Surgical Tech / CST to join the Labor and Delivery team on a varied shift, PRN basis. This role supports the surgical team, prepares rooms, and ensures sterile technique under supervision.

Candidates should have BLS and CST certification or NCCT-TS-C/AST-CST, with scrub experience. The position offers opportunities to develop skills in a busy obstetric unit within a large health system.

Qualifications

• BLS issued by ARC or AHA within 60 days of hire.
• Must have NCCT-TS-C or AST-CST certification.
• May consider non-certified tech with completing a surgical technology program or has at least 1 year of scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining the sterile field under supervision.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the procedure and supports surgical team needs.
• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves appropriately.
• Sets up sterile tables with instruments and supplies under guidance.
• Performs instrument and sponge counts with the circulator.
• Aids in cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
• Supports terminal cleaning of rooms and preparation for the next procedure.
• May retrieve and transport medications (no preparation or administration).
