Qualifications

• Requires active NM RN license or compact state license.
• Current BLS CPR certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NRP certification within 9 months and fetal monitoring training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and coordinate with ancillary staff.
• Comply with Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
