Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NRP certification within 9 months.
• Fetal monitoring course within 6 months.
• NRP and fetal monitoring must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing and comply with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
