Job summary

North Suburban Medical Center in Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery PRN. The role focuses on delivering high-quality obstetric care, with opportunities to float to related OB areas as needed and participate in labor, delivery, and newborn care.

The position requires current Colorado RN licensure, BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications, with BSN preferred. AWHONN fetal monitoring credentials are also valued for advanced care within the unit.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• NRP certification through AAP.
• ACLS certification through AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Float to areas other than assigned service area as needed.
• Provide nursing process for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Scrub and circulate in OR for cesarean sections and OB surgeries.
• Provide recovery room care for OB patients and routine care to healthy newborns.
• Institute resuscitation for compromised newborns.
