Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for our Women’s Services Unit. The PRN role supports a high-acuity environment with a dedicated team focused on excellent patient care.

You will assess laboring patients, assist with deliveries including C-sections, educate families, maintain records, and administer medications in line with physician orders. Florida RN license and certifications are required with timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact licensure with FL eligibility within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required within set timelines.
• BLS required; strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for laboring mothers.
• Assist in delivery, including C-sections.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatments.
• Maintain and review patient records with test results.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
