Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse to support quality standards, perform comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized care plans. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication with patients and families, and adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's in Nursing with Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and prior obstetric/gynecology experience is preferred; PRN shifts offer day and night options

Qualifications

Associate's degree in nursing required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Current RN license in Florida.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department.
Performs nursing assessments across physical, psychological, spiritual, and sociocultural factors.
Develops care plans with measurable goals and coordinates with interdisciplinary team.
Ensures infection prevention practices and patient safety.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Participates in hand-offs and compliance with ethics standards.
