Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced RN for a PRN Labor & Delivery position, 7a to 7p. The role requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHMC certification and two years of RN experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Two years registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• Texas RN licensure with PSV Compact; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHMC certifications within specified timeframes.
• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care, assess patients, and assist with exams and treatment.
• Communicate with physicians and interprofessional care team to coordinate plans and ensure quality care.
