Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care under a professional practice model in a Texas setting. You will assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans, and respond to evolving health needs while ensuring safety and privacy.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies. Knowledge of nursing standards and EMR systems will support effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Specialized field of study in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs; create and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses and community members to empower better healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies; follow up for safety and effectiveness.
• Document learning needs and assess patient responses to care plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop and adjust care plans.
