Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Marble Falls seeks a Registered Nurse to support Labor & Delivery with patient-centered care and clinical collaboration.

In this PRN days role, you will apply nursing processes, develop care plans, and respond to changing patient needs while maintaining safety and compassion. The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years in a relevant setting, and will participate in education, quality improvement, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited course or have at least 2 years of experience surpassing the minimal qualification required.
• Field of Study: nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.
• Certification: Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
• Registered Nurse License

Responsibilities

• Prioritize needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary.
• Observe indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.
• Create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Build relationships with boundaries in mind. Focus on managing emotional and physical pain to promote healing and reduce suffering.
• Facilitate learning for all members of the healthcare team, including patients, families, and nursing staff, ensuring everyone is well-informed.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the community to develop and execute an integrated plan of care.
• Use problem-solving strategies and utilize available resources to support patients, family and staff as part of a systems thinking approach.
