Northwell Career Site is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join our team in New York. The role requires 2+ years of current Labor & Delivery experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications, with NCC-EFM Certification to be obtained within one year.

You will develop an age-specific plan of care, collaborate with physicians and the health team, and lead patient care on the unit. Strong clinical judgment and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree(s) required with active RN license in NY/CT.
• BLS required; additional certifications as needed for labor and delivery.
• 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient physiologic health status and document plan of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and health team members.
• Educate patients and families, discharge planning, and referrals.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate on treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication with care team.
