Requirements include 2+ years antepartum nursing, current NY RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, and NCC-EFM within 1 year of hire. ASN is required; BSN is preferred.

• Assesses the patient’s physiologic health status and plans care.

• Implements the plan of care and monitors patient responses.
• Documents care, procedures, and education; maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Leads coordination of discharge planning and referrals as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education and supports emotional needs.
