Job summary

Onslow Memorial Hospital Inc. seeks an RN to provide direct obstetrical patient care, performing assessments, administering medications, and following providers' orders.

You will document care and communicate with the care team, upholding hospital policies and accreditation standards. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school, current NC or compact RN license, BLS, and NRP/ACLS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered NC or compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP and ACLS within 6 months.
• NCI certification and TeamSTEPPS training within 90 days.
• One year of clinical experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• New graduates after RN residency program are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to the obstetrical patient.
• Responsible for assessment, medication administration, carrying out orders, evaluating effects, documenting care, and communicating with the care team.
• Adheres to all hospital policies and accreditation standards.
