Job summary

Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a full-time Night shift Neonatal Nurse (0.9 FTE). The RN will provide direct neonatal care, assess patients, administer medications, and document care while following hospital policies.

Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, NC or compact RN license, BLS, NRP and STABLE within 6 months, and NCI and TeamSTEPPS within 90 days. One year of neonatal or relevant clinical experience preferred; new grads after RN residency

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN License.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP and STABLE certification within 6 months.
• NCI Certification and Team STEPPS training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to neonatal patients, including assessment and medication administration.
• Carries out providers' orders, evaluates effects, and documents care.
• Communicates with the care team and adheres to hospital policies and accreditation standards.
