Job summary

Onslow Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct, age-appropriate care across the Maternal Child spectrum. Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, and documenting care while collaborating with the care team.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing program background and current RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state, with BLS; PALS and NRP within 90 days; and EFM antepartum and TeamSTEPPS training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• New graduates upon completion of RN residency program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate direct care to patients across all age spans in Maternal Child.
• Assesses, administers medications, carries out provider orders, evaluates effects, documents care and communicates with the care team.
• Adheres to hospital policies and accreditation standards.
