Nuvance Health's Sharon Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the L&D unit, assess and plan patient care, and communicate changes with physicians.

This role requires CT RN licensure, at least 1 year of nursing experience (RN Labor and Delivery preferred), BLS, and within six months NRP and ACLS; STABLE certification. Night shifts, 36 hours, on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• CT RN licensure is required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• One year of RN Labor and Delivery experience (preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• NRP and ACLS certifications required within six months of hire.
• STABLE Neonatal Program completion within six months of hire.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
