Job summary

University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery. You will assess patients, develop and modify plans of care with the nursing process in collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include Maryland RN license, Associate’s degree (BSN preferred), 1 year of RN experience, and AHA BLS on hire; PALS/ACLS/NRP as unit-specific certs. Competitive pay and shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license or eligibility required.
• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• One year RN experience required.
• AHA BLS certification required on hire.
• Must meet unit-specific certification requirements (PALS, ACLS, NRP).

Responsibilities

• Provide unit-based nursing care and collaborate with the care team.
• Develop, evaluate, and modify the plan of care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to address patient/family needs.
• Support regulatory compliance and NSQI initiatives.
• Serve as primary coordinating nurse as needed.
• Follow AACN Healthy Work Environment guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
