Job summary

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Detail oriented when examining clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients.
• Completes assessment and individualizes plan of care within unit guidelines.
• Cares for patients with cultural and psychosocial considerations.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and performs nursing skills for the patient population.
• Documents steps of the nursing process and patient data clearly.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to support patient outcomes.
• Participates in patient education and discharge planning as needed.
• Maintains professional judgment in changing patient/unit situations.
