Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality patient care. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and established nursing guidelines.
- Provide age‑appropriate, culturally sensitive, and psychosocially appropriate care.
- Prioritize and perform nursing skills according to patient needs.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and respond appropriately to changing patient conditions.
- Delegate tasks and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation.
- Provide patient education and assist with discharge planning.
- Make appropriate and timely referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education, and mandatory in‑services.
- Complete required documentation and variance reports accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Valid Oklahoma RN License or Multistate/Compact RN License.
- Current BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- Proof of instruction/passage of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Detail‑oriented with strong clinical documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of disease management, the biopsychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Epic experience at Muskogee is preferred.
- Epic experience at South or Yale is a plus.
