Qualifications

• Zero to six (0-6) months related experience.
• Working knowledge of general disease state management processes and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Ability to be detail-oriented when examining clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for age, culture and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Uses proper medical terminology and addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge through referrals and education resources.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Supports unit goals through PI and educational activities.
• Exercises independent judgment in decision-making.
