Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within department standards and nursing models. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to ensure compassionate, personalized care, advocating for patients and families to improve outcomes.

You will consistently apply nursing processes, demonstrate leadership, and engage in unit activities while upholding the organization’s vision and values.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of Texas)
• ACLS within 6 months of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• NRP within 6 months of start date
• RN registered nurse credential and Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process with clinical judgment and leadership to deliver safe patient care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and act as a resource to the care team.
• Maintain accountability for delivering quality nursing care and promoting a positive image of nursing.
