Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide direct, individualized patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting.

You will assess and plan patient care, communicating with physicians and collaborating with a supportive team dedicated to exceptional outcomes. We seek a compassionate professional with CA RN license, 1–2 years acute care experience (prefer L&D), and current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AFM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience; prefer Labor & Delivery.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS.
• Current NRP.
• Current AFM.

Responsibilities

• Communicate changes in patients’ clinical condition with physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain a composed, professional manner under pressure.
• Perform general nursing duties in Maternal Child Health with supervision.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Advocate for the patient as circumstances require.
