Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality care from admission through postpartum recovery in a hospital setting.

You will monitor fetal well-being, assist during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and support new mothers with bonding and breastfeeding. ER/OB protocols, strong communication, and calm decisiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in labor and delivery or perinatal nursing.
• Active RN license with BLS, NRP, and EFM credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assess laboring patients and monitor fetal well‑being.
• Administer medications per protocol (oxytocin, analgesia).
• Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide postpartum care and breastfeeding support.
• Document interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
