Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital is seeking a full-time Labor & Delivery Clinical Nurse II to join our team. This role provides compassionate, evidence-based maternal care in a 36-hour weekly, night schedule at our Holly Springs location.

You will collaborate with OB/GYN teams, CRNA, and nursery staff to support families during labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Qualified candidates will have NC RN licensure, ACLS/BCLS/NRP certifications, and at least one year of labor & delivery experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in NC with active license.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP certifications.
• One year RN experience in labor & delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Maintain patient safety and participate in safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with obstetric care team and parents.
• Support labor, delivery, and postpartum patients including pain management.
• Document clinical information accurately.
• Participate in professional growth and quality improvement.
